As a copywriter, I know that motivation can help others to reach new heights. Every month on my blog, I talk about how much money I made the previous month through my freelance writing.

If you dont believe you can earn a decent living, I urge you to keep trying. There are many great threads on DP about not only how much you can earn, but how to get started. Last month I earned just about $5k, and in past months this number has been twice as large.

A motivated copywriter can make money!

I couldn't agree with you more. Deliver quality and you will have more work than you can imagine. I find that a pat on the back and a happy client is quite motivating, the money tends to follow.

Absolutey! Freelance writing has come of age and people understand the value of 'quality' articles. It has carved out a niche for itself that is very profitable. You just need to know the ropes and do things right.

Motivation is the key to good performance. I've read many motivating posts here and its always encouraging to see someone doing well with their writing.

BTW, great post! Prompts me to get back to work.

It all starts with aiming to offer the highest quality in your work, a happy client and like so many before me pointed out happy clients will follow.

I agree. Many people don't so much lack motivation when starting out in the freelance field, but instead get overwhelmed by everything writing entails. The networking, marketing, and advertising involved. Building a website can be time consuming, for people who already have a paying job, and with little experience beforehand, writers may need a bit of help. However, instead they find competition, and more "don'ts" than "do's". Everyone is willing to tell them what -not- to do, than give productive tips.

Motivating yourself and finding motivation might be difficult, at first, but it comes to you, especially after clients see how dependable you are, and appreciate a job well done.

Hi, i think the first motivation for write a copy.
is to have a good income ^^. isn't it ??
second, to have a proof about how great is our skill. when other people thanks to us. so we can sell our services more higher than usually.
