CC, don't assume that the silence of the other writers here on DP somehow means anything other than having seen dozens of folks like you come and go. First post and it's a link to an article? It's been done to death.

Approval from other writers comes cheap. Just visit the WSO forum and you can see hordes of "professionals" promoting each other's crap.

Honestly I don't mind people questioning things and I'm happy to engage with anyone. But when people tell me the speed writers can work at, before admitting they're not a writer, then it is hard to take that criticism. Probably WarriorForum regulars would say this place is full of losers, too, that's the tribal nature of the net...

I probably shouldn't have got involved with this petty argument and even I am tired of it. So consider a line drawn under it.

I have little doubt the "warriors" have little regard for the folks over here on DP. After all, we often help honest newbies. They see them as easy marks.

I'm going to stay out of that one if that's OK! One squabble is enough for me :)

I know it's easy to get the approval of other writers, too, that's why I did this one. It isn't the most inspired piece of journalism ever, it has been done before, but stirring the pot has helped me get a bit of traction for the blog. Hopefully there'll be something in the future posts for everyone.

Mate I have written for the world's biggest publications. I still do, print titles that are hard to get into. For fuck's sake you pair are a couple of total pricks determined to pick a fight. So go do it. I'm done with you.

Saw this discussion somehow turned towards the Warrior Forum.

I always saw WF as a place that was filled with people who like buying cheap products and broken WP Plugins. I can't browse that forum for too long because a lot of the stuff posted there gives me a headache. That place has an unhealthy addiction to everything Fiverr. That and life changing $7 eBooks.

I used to purchase and download WSOs when I was younger. I wish a monkey punched me in the back of the head every time I did. I would've lost fewer brain cells getting punched on a consistent basis, than I did reading those things.

Corey you seemed to be a voice of reason! Essentially all I want to do is meet the people that don't have the $5 article mentality, I have spoken to people on Warrior Forum, too, and they seem to want the world on a stick for $2.50. If idiots like Sundaybrew argue that it actually represents $30 an hour then it will continue.

Sundaybrew I repeat my earlier assertion. If you think you can do 3000 words in an hour, every hour, with any level of quality then you deserve to be locked up for your kids' protection. You're talking rubbish, just because you do it loudly and regularly doesn't make it right. Your pedantic joy at finding a typo reveals more about your personality and your ego than anything you can sling my way too. People like you are always awesome fun...

You have been a writer, not a writer, an internet marketer and now a writer again all during the course of this thread. Then there's another one that is equally convinced I am rubbishing my own clients, even though I am clearly not.

So Corey thanks for interjecting the reason. It's been nice talking to you and I hope it continues somewhere else.
