I like dupecop for checking originality when I am asked to do rewrites or when I need to write multiple articles on a very specific subject--you can use it to check between two pieces of work. I'm not sure if they check the internet for dupicate content (haven't had to use it in a while) but it is worth looking into.

I would recommend Ithenticate. Not that I have used it but many of my clients are happy with it.

You can copy and paste into copyscape if you become a pemium member. Also you could put your article up on your host as a text file and use the URL check in copyscape to check the content. Just Remember to put the name of the text file on the end of the URL.

I was given this free tool a couple of years ago by an article buyer. It is an educational project developed by the students of Maryland University.

    Hi Alevoor,
Thanks but no thanks for your contribution. I find this tool very much slow (even to a 8 Mbps connection), it can not find all the sources and does not give us authentic results.
I have checked one of my blog articles through this online software. It discovered 15 possible plagiarism, but all the sources are directed to the same blog title.
Now tell me what to do?

Strange! I don't know what has gone wrong with it. But it was alright. May be I should have checked it before posting here. Sorry about that, infofreek
