    Hello,
I was working for a client and i wrote around 90 Articles for her. She didnt pay me zilch and ran away!
I was just checking on copyscape and she has posted my work on various websites.

    Take a look:

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/144266/getting_the_maximum_points_in_brazilian.html?cat=14

I have written so many articles for her and i didnt get even a dollar out of her! So technically i still hold the copyrights of these articles. Can someone tell me how i should sell them?

The problem is i tried selling it to a few people but they copyscaped it and they said that i copypsated it and it wasn't mine.

But it is mine! how on earth do i show them that i hold the rights of these articles? and how do i get the content removed from otherwebsites? I cant lookup every article.

    help me out.

    Thanks

I hate to say it, but you screwed yourself by giving up so much work without payment. You are going to have to track down your articles and file a complaint with the site where they are posted, no one is going to do it for you.

You articles are burned. It will probably be better to rewrite them or just learn from your mistake. I know it sucks, but you gave up the work.

Even worse...article sites get these type of complaints all the time os depending on how many articles you have spread around, it may be just easier to move on.

Agreed.. Also, depending on your jurisdiction, you no longer own them anyway and she would need to be brought up on conversion charges..

We used to go through this in the hardware business..If we delivered a computer and left.. Then the client never paid I could not just go in and take the computer back, I could be charged with theft..

I would take it as a lesson learned, start telling everyone who it was that did this to your, and move on..

Don't waste your time. Learn from the experience and move on.

90 articles is a lot, but make sure it does not happen to you again!

That person who didn't pay you? Make a site about them. SEO it. Make sure it's the #1 thing that shows up whenever someone googles them. Talk about the whole story, include user IDs on message boards that she frequents, companies associated with, etc.

Sure, you're kinda screwed right now, but you can help other people avoid the same fate. If she's local (or even same country) there are legal resources you might be able to use.

However, that article says it was posted in 2007... a bit late to be bringing this up?

Next time, be sure to get paid per article and not after you write 90 articles. Sorry to hear you got burned, I hate dishonest people.

Geez ! It was 90 ! I'm sorry, but you really should have known better.
I'll bet it never happens to you again. Unfortunately that is how we learn.
