    My advice:

Give details - say what the topics of the articles are to be.

Say how many articles, and how many words each article.

Offer a rate of pay - per article, or per word.

Give a deadline - when the articles have to be completed by.

    Good luck!

Also decide what the focus of the content is going to be.

Are the articles to be search engine fodder that also exemplifies what it is your company does?

Or will they be sales-type pieces that relate your company's successful past projects?

While a good writer can do both, depending on what you company does, you may need someone who also has a stronger background in your industry for the first.

And one thing telegraph left out; list whether the writer will be required to work from your location, attend meetings at your location, or can telecommute.

    Yes, good point, YMC.

Advertising on DP, I had tended to assume that it would be telecommute, but this may not be the case.

Sounds like you are looking for a copywriter, not a copyrighter. In any event, I am right around the corner from you in Cary. PM me with the details if you please.

    As it was previously discussed.

If a moderator cannot post the difference between copyright and copywriter, any of us should do so a moderator could make such post a pinned topic to help people differentiate concepts between each other

fadetoblack, get lots of samples so you can gauge the quality of the work with the rate they're charging.
