    Hello,

My newest website is an sat informational site. In one section of my site, I want to provide sat vocabulary words and definitions.

Here is a list of sat study words from a different website http://img.sparknotes.com/content/testprep/pdf/sat.vocab.pdf

if I wanted to use these words for my sat vocabulary study guide, could I? I am going to present the list in a completely different fashion (like 10 word lists), and I am going to present the definitions differently, with sample sentences and pictures etc. So it would be completely different. (all I would be using is some of the words and parts of the definitions)

But, could I use the words and parts of the definitions from the above site? or is this copywrite infringement. (I dont think this should be copywrite infringement, unless someone can copywrite word definitions...)

SparksNotes and dictionary websites all have copyright notices and Terms of Use.
Your word list and text would have to be different enough that it would not show as duplicate content in Google searches or copyscape.com/
