I was thinking of a website that would have pictures from movies (like a picture from a movie scene), anyone know what the copyrights are on having this on my site?
Lots of sites have stills of movies. I know the images legally belong to the studios but I don't think they are too bothered. They are more defensive of their upcoming movies rather than already released ones. I think the most they will do if ask you to take them down, if anything.
i know that, if you get them from promotional part (prevue, preview) of movie that you can share but you havent any chance to share a not-common scene.
