I'm in the process of setting up an aggregate news blog and want to make it perfectly clear that I claim no rights to the info I aggregate.

What's the best way of wording this?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you.

You should mention the source(s) whenever possible under the articles (link to them?) nofollow is enough.

If it's a commercial site, might be a good thing to run by an Intellectual Property attorney. (Not legal advice) Something like "the stories and photos on this site are the property of their publishers" might work. News aggregation is kind of a new frontier in copyright law, so it's difficult to say.

More important than a copyright notice is your problem with setting up an aggregate news site. Where are you getting the news you aggregate?

If you are merely posting or linking to news stories on the web you MAY have liability for reposting their works under copyright. I said may have a problem because one appelate court recently said this was a proper use. However, it is my belief that this is a rogue opinion, and most courts would not follow it, but rather, would find you liable for using another's work under copyright.
