Copyright Issue

    Is there any way I can copyright the content and design of my website???

    If you are the author of the site and it's content it is already copyrighted. Everyone who uses it without your pemission is doing it illeagally (with exceptions such as personal use).
    But probably you want to know how to do that none can copy content from your website - you can't, everyone who can see your page can copy it.

    ya.. i am the author of a the pages... if someone copies my website i can't take any actions against that person until my content is copyrighted...

    So thats y I need my content to be copyrighted...

    That's just Google's policy.

    You automatically have rights with respect to your own original work, whether that's content, a design, or anything else. You cannot steal someone elses work and present it as your own whether it's registered with an official body or not.

    You're probably worrying about nothing. Perhaps if you expanded your question by giving details of the content concerned and the type of copyright infringement you're worried about then you might get a better answer.

    Dave is right. Most civilized countries have copyright laws giving you rights the moment you create something - you don't 'need' to file anything. As for 'protecting' your stuff, you can't. You can only chase them AFTER they steal it.
