If you dont own the original then you need to ask at the site where you purchased or got a free download of the theme, they will probably have info regarding this on their site anyway but ask to be sure.

Added If you read your own http://www.hellboundbloggers.com/copyright-policy then it will probably hint at what you should be doing anyway.;)

The problem is that the original revolution church theme has a license. He's asking whether it will be a problem due to copyright issues, not just whether he can post a FREE download link.

If you are asking if you can post a link to the customized version ? No. If you design a theme from scratch, then you can do what ever you want, but customizing a theme is pretty common...I do it all the time. Adding a different header, maybe swapping around a module and changing a color or two, doesn't give you the right to post it as your own.

It's still a Brian Gardner Revolution Theme.

If you want to post the theme with your customizations and give credit to the original designer, you should ask him if that is O.K. instead of making that decision for him.

And I agree...you have a copyright policy that shows that way you would like your work treated, why do you feel others don't deserve the same respect ?

That is completely wrong. You cannot make that decision for someone else.
