Never heard of exitlinks, and we certainly aren't selling it, using it or allowing users to host it. You can find policies for editing other member's posts in our FAQ/Rules. It also has the proper procedure for DMCA take down notices should you find any copyrighted files or plagiarized content from users.
Then there's a question who the op is. According to Whois, scriptdorks is owned by Michael Capodoci, who appears to already have a membership here... The thread was titled "DigitalPoint Exclusive"... and the last line adds you can see the same discount at Sitepoint. Somebody needs to look up the meaning of "Exclusive".
This thread is funny. A proper person who has been hired for a DCMA take down would have more professionalism than posting publicly on a forum.
@thexyz Am I missing something? What copyright are you talking about? If articles you have in your site, them they are copyrighted property of authors who wrote them. Care to explain what copyright you're talking about? According to Trollsylvania Wiki, @thexyz calls Exclusive every piece of crap he can find for his blog. fastreplies
Basically we are selling a web script that is currently under further development mostly to enhance security. The source file has ended up in some torrent type sites and linked to in forums. The message was posted here as I could not find a way to contact the forum by email. The file and thread in question has since been removed. While I would have preferred not to start an open debate in the matter, I am glad the matter has been resolved, and consider it a victory for intellectual property rights.
Still no idea what you are talking about... the thread in question was NOT removed... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1315450 And you still haven't actually specified where *exactly* the copyright infringement on our site is.
