    Hello DP members,
I need help for my one client. he is running large company over world wide but someone in Hungary copied his one of site content and using on his site to get clients for same business. Not only this that person using my clients logo also and claiming that he is member of my clients Europe group which is not true because my client don't have network in Hungary. So my question is that how to takedown this type of site?

He had directly tried contact that site admin and sent some legal mails but he is not responding then I had advise him to talk with directly hosting company which is he using for this site but hosting company also from Hungary and they are also not responding. If I am not wrong then DMCA is for US only so how can we stop website which is in Hungary??

    Thanks in Advance

His first step is to talk to his local lawyer about getting a lawyer in Hungary and taking appropriate legal steps.

First file a DMCA to take-down the article and other copyright meterial.

What a load of shite. The DMCA protection badge is totally worthless.
BTW, that site is not the 'official' DMCA site - its just a marketing business that you appear to have fallen for.

    ???
It doesn't matter what language a stupid badge is available in, what matters are the laws where the content is actually hosted.
Sarahk is right, the OP should contact a lawyer in hungary who is familiar with the process. Hungary does have copyright laws, including ones similar to DMCA. A lawyer in Hungary will ensure that a notice is served correctly, in Hungarian, to the relevant department and - very importantly - all relevant local laws are quoted, rather than irrelevant USA Federal ones.

Thanks Sharahk, I also advised the same to him but if there is any feasible solution is available then we are looking for it because he don't have any network there.

The Badge is useless in some countries some people don't bother about DMCA or anything if they can copy company logo then do you think they see badge and stop copying content??
PS: The link is also redirecting to an Empty page which have no info.

Forget the Hungarian company. Look where the server is. If the server is in the US and you make the complaint, the host will usually look into it ASAP.
