Copying the same site

    Ok i make a blog about the technology in todays world right?
    But then someone else copies all the blog text and pictures and videos and they are paying for the space.

    Now since im using a free site and they are paying who has the rights? and i posted all this first

    The payment for the site has absolutely nothing to do with this. If you created the content, and own the pictures, you are the copyright owner. Anyone taking the content without your permission would be committing copyright infringement. You could then file a DMCA with their host and have the content or site taken down.

    That you posted the content first?
    That is enough proof really - a simple stern worded letter might solve it.

    You have the rights, you wrote it and its your intellectual property.

    Yeah, most people will back down if you even threaten legal action. Send them an email for starters. Mainly because, who wants to call that bluff?

    It's easy enough to get a lawyer to send a letter. Getting a letter threatening legal action has even more effect when it originates from a lawyer's office. Plus it looks less like a bluff.
