    hi guys
i was thinking to collect a lot of quotes and use this on my sites... with of course keeping the exact original author and text.
so can i go about and copy quotes from internet from other people site which only shows quotes and lets their visitor quote on their own..
for example like sad-quotes.com.. can i copy their quotes and show it on my site.. with keeping the original author name??

There are also copy right rules not only of the written word but how it is displayed. In otherwards, to collect a bunch of quotes to show content copying goes beyond the question of just getting the quote itself. It is an area to be careful of.

In almost all cases, using quotes are okay as long as you properly attribute the source.
