Lately I get so busy with my school and no time for blogging. but i just wanna keep posting. Is copying content from wikipedia violating adsense TOS?? Will I get banned? Will google stop indexing my blog? I know a website that gets 20,000 visitors aday and many contents were copied from wikipedia, and using adsense too, looks okay to me. if i do that, will google stop indexing my blog and my adsense too?
I dont care about owner files complaint, im more concern about google stop indexing my blog?? is that true?
you must edit that copied content and check the spelling before publish it.. I think this is the best way to avoid that creepy status named "banned"
I do not think google would de-index your site, but they can definitely ban your adsense account for duplicate content. I have seen many adsense applications being rejected citing this very clause of duplicate content. Hence you are certainly trying to put your feet on their toes. Be careful....mate! Regards, RightMan
if you have another articles that are uniqe - so google dont harm you- only site that all or most of there articles are copied - then google can ban them
don't tell me you don't have time to send a shitty blog post every now and then, I've been to school too I know what it is, you HAVE time! and honestly copying wikipedia will serve no purpose at all, I'm not even talking about being banned by adsense, because that's not the point... why waste time doing something that will serve no purpose at all, it won't get you any visitors. If you really don't want to believe me, then do it you're free. I would not.
I would advice you to write your own contents to stay away from trouble. One original content is far better than tens of duplicate contents.
Your site will not get much traffic from Google and your earnings would also drop if you would regularly use copied content.
Write good original content,which will get you unique visitors.Simply copying contents wont help you.
