here is some thing like that
    there is one site like
    monster.com

    i get the domain
    monster.net

so my question is that if the monster.com can claim a copy right of his domain , ( i don't use monster.com 's logos and other contents). There is only domain name similarity.

please clarify this in the sense of Google.

    Thanks

I doubt they would as long as the site developed with the domain was NOT related to job searches. If it was say an online encyclopedia of monsters and things that go "bump" in the night, you'd be fine. Both with the lawyers and the search engines.

Oh, and the law in question is not copyright, but trademark.
