Copy of this website design?

I work as a web designer. I work with HTML & CSS mostly, but sometimes, I code in PHP at Wordpress, Joomla! or Drupal. I design websites for people, and yesterday, I got an e-mail from somebody that wanted me to create a website. He told me that the website should look exactly like this: www . chat-contact . se <--- I'm afraid of posting links. If you visit that website, you can see that it's made in flash. At least the banner. Now, he has some more things going on... there seems to be a place where you could register and upload a photo of yourself, along with your phone number.

I understand most things, but this one was hard for me. Could somebody please tell me HOW this website is built, if it's big, and if it's possible to just... make a copy of it? I would like to make a copy of that website, and then place it in his brand name. In that way, I don't get to work a lot. I just don't know how I'm going to do that. I thought of downloading some kind of flash-decompiler to work with the flash, but still... what about the rest of the website? If I start to edit the flash, it's one thing, but what about the other parts where you actually can "register" your own profile? You put in your phone number, a picture of yourself, and a description. What about that part, how is that part fixed? I really need help with this one. Thanks.

Since you are afraid to post links, maybe you are afraid to actually design a website. Copy and re-brand? Come on.

If it is a Flash site tell them it's a waste of time anyway. These sites are almost impossible to make popular and SEO. Plus, yes... They are difficult to create..

I'm not afraid to design websites. I've designed a lot of websites before. I just didn't want to post a link here at DP, I'm afraid of getting banned again. I already told him it's a waste of time, but he really doesn't care about it - and he knows nothing about SEO. He's just a random dude, that wants a website like that. I could use my own source code to design a website like that, but I don't know what to do with the software-part of the website.

if we could not see the website how we can help you then... you talk about copy/past/ re-brand, it's not a good Gesture and way as a professional, and if they have a copyright your customer and you are burned... So let us see the Website, then we can say which software they use.. and as long as you say that you can code in php, so it's gona be easy for you..

    Goodluck!

That's an ugly website lol but anyway, just use an swf decompiler after downloading the flash part. Use a site ripper and just rip and rebrand. You will be charged for copyright infringement unless you have a contract signed which states you are not liable and keep records of all correspondences

For the accounts and whatnot, try researching sql / php, using php and database queries to create records and then call them through form fields in your php/html doc is how the whole account this, user info that is done.

Basically there's code to access table cells and update them, link them, delete them, etc...

    mysql is oopensource.

Thanks for all the information guys. My client was stupid. When I started working, he cancelled my work. Pretty bad from his side, but hey... anyway. This may come in use in the future.
