I'm not sure if this will help but a while back I read a blog post and watched a video from Jeremy Shoemaker. If you're not familiar with his blog, it's awesome. At any rate, he discussed all sorts of legal stuff regarding copyright and what to include in your privacy policy and so forth. I'm brand new here so I can't include links but if you do a search for "Shoemoney" you'll go to his blog. Once there, just search the sight for the term "legal" and you'll see the post I'm referring to with all sorts of legal resources. Hope that helped.

I guess you will always find people stealing content... You cannot avoid it.. If Google starts taking legal action against copied content, half the internet would be fighting lawsuit with Google... Additionally why would Google be interested in taking legal action against site which copied your content. just my 2 cents.

Additionally I believe if your site was indexed in Google first then the second site would be considered duplicate content.

Well , you can report a spam to google

    here https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport?hl=en&pli=1

though i personally believe that you can't take a blog owner down easily because google don't actually own the site and he need some real reporting documents while reporting a site that need be deindex from Google and also would take some time to consider your request .I would suggest to get blog whois info and contact the blog owner first to remove your content from blog or either contact to their webhosting provider and report content duplication /copyright violation from the blog owner .It can help you to suspend their hosting account for sure .

Or just move on since google is not stupid and knows everything

Info above is best ^^ Sushi pretty accurate

Yah, it can be reported as spam. Honestly I doubt there will be any action taken, sadly it is the way of the interweb. Be flattered they are using your writing authority?
