Ah, I see. A few questions.

Please define "a basic level of education."

Please describe this "primary method of control in a democracy" of "keeping people stupid."

Please tell me - who are "they?" And who is "their little mistake?"

    "a basic level of education"

I would qualify as being able to understand that Democracy means the Opposite of the word freedom.

    "they"
Would be the people who enforce and benefit from democracy.

    I see.

And, a description of how the "primary method of control in a democracy" of "keeping people stupid" takes place?

And, who is "their little mistake?"

    You visit infowars don't you?

But yeah cops are scum, I mean they put their life on the line everyday to keep the streets clean of criminals, rapists, murderers, and kidnappers. Who the hell do they think they are? We're supposed to be a free people, we don't need crap like that!

    yes a couple times

I don't think all cops are bad, they are necessary, somebody has to get the murders, rapists and burglars, keep the peace etc

the profession seems to attract some world class dicks though, real authoritarian , sadist types, but most of them are probably all right

I'm sorry that happened. Did you press charges?

I can tell you, coming from Chicago, what astounds me more is that police don't regularly go apeshit. I don't know if I am but a random example, but it has been my misfortune (and that of the would-be perpetrator) that I have personally witnessed an attempted rape, numerous muggings, purse-snatchings and violent encounters; I have seen gang members spitting on passenger's faces on the "L", and the victim's were too terrified to do anything about it; my wife has been held up at gunpoint and I've been gang-jumped from behind. In all these things, (save my wife's robbery - when I wasn't there), it has been everything I could do to not beat the asshole to a pulp of its former self. I thankfully stopped at the level of containment. I could never be a cop as I don't have the control. I do find that most police officers I know are balanced, courageous professionals who go above and beyond what many would dare to do a job that essentially blows.

I see. I have been asking you these questions as I was piqued as to how such a mind constructs its platitudes. Do you have anything other than one-liners based on air? (All my opinion, of course).

As a former Civilian working for Wyandotte County Jail (worst county in the KC Metro area), I can tell you several things...

First, there are good and bad cops, most of them have a sense of humor and know when to let things go.

Second, those who don't have a sense of humor tend to crack.

Third, LEO's can be very macho and authoritarian simply because that's how some of them deal with the stress of the life. And some are simply LEO's because of the percieved power behind the badge.

    bobbys
    flat foot
    old bill

all the rest have been mentioned :)

Cops take money in return for killing people who disagree with the people who pay them. They're are no "good" cops, they are just hired goons in a uniform.

Yes, yes, complience, well all know your matured and well-researched thoughts on the subject; beyond, you have formed such a cogent argument. Thankfully, despite your philosophy, were you in trouble, your "hired goon" will still save your ass when needs be.

May I ask - how old are you? Do you live at home?

    Ah. Never mind. Got it.

you can ask.. im not sure how the answer would effect my argument that killing people purely because they disagree with you is wrong...
