I just wanted to wanted to share the situation that happened to me 2 days ago... I went to Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and had slight incident with Bosnian police... What was going on... I was driving home (I live 200 km south) and in one of the tunnels I've noticed I am getting closer and closer to 2 big trucks which were driving some 10 (ten!) km/h. Normally, I overtook these guys and got caught by the local police The funny things just started: 1. Police was around 400 meters ahead and there was no chance they could see me (behind the curve also) 2. I am guilty because I overtook two trucks in the tunnel on the full line (150€ fine!) 3. They stopped 4 cars + mine 4. I am a foreigner and they should take me to judge in nearby city My opinion is that they also overtook these trucks and waited who else would do the same thing because the trucks were extremely slow and it was a piece of cake to do it. Of course, every car who came to them before the trucks had to be punished because there was no "normal" place to do the overtaking. Than the police officer said to me to come into his car and talk to him. I asked him if there was quicker solution to let me go other than go to local court (of course there was). He started talking about what I have done (rising the price!) and I repeated the question. I didn't have any Euros or Bosnian Marks and I asked him would he accept Croatian Kunas and let me go, without writing down anything or leading me to the court. Of course he accepted The funniest thing is that he told me that there was no police in next 50 km and that I have nothing to worry about. I've felt bad because he took me approx 25€ but I was happy in the same time because I didn't lose 150€. Nice thing is that I had no worries about would he accept money from me or not. I knew he would Damn, this is the longest post I ever wrote on DP
