Copied Content can damage repute for getting ad sense

I have a food site and i have taken content from different books of food recipes. I want to get the ad sense but google is refusing me again and again. Can some one guide me on this.
Should i put the books refrence on my site.

 

You should always reference the material that you put on your site or in anything that you write if it's not yours and credit the appropriate resources. For an example, I use a picture for one of my sites and the terms were that I needed to put a link to the site with the name to credit it. Google also requires that you do this.

 

but in my case i added data from the books so i mentioned the book name. But google again finds my content as copied.
Same content one of my friend posted on his site and he is having google ads And he did not mention any refrence

 

But I'm seing G ads on your site..

 

these addsense are from my friends google adsense account.
Will it affect if my site has google adsense and i am asking for google adsense account.
