I'm pretty sure that in a month it will be filled with all tips and suggestions PS. Also, congrats on hitting $1,000 gross amount from affiliate the other day
That looks great, but considering it's a business that seems to be getting a good amount of publishers on board now, I would have thought they would have gone for a paid forums like vbulletin rather than a freebie. Anyway, I hope it works out well for them and brings more success their way.
You're probably right... Which will be good and bad. I almost posted a request for an offer but I realized... wait, why would I want to post this publicly? This niche is practically untapped... Needless to say, it'll be a good place to steal... I mean get ideas.
Someone needs to update the register page! http://forums.copeac.com/phpBB2/profile.php?mode=register versus: http://www.reefmonkey.com/phpbb2/profile.php?mode=register Oops!
That is the terms and services of all phpBB forums, to be in relation with the COPPA - http://www.coppa.org/
Read the pages again please - the Copeac is an exact copy of the ReefMonkey page right down to lines like: "You agree that your posts and attachments become the sole property of www.ReefMonkey.com unless other arragements are agreeably made between the owner of ReefMonkey and you" and: "(ie: shilling - advertising for your business or marine aquarium related message board.)"
If I may suggest, stating that member posts and attachments become your sole property may be rather offensive to your community, IMHO. From experience, granting a license should be sufficient and less likely to arise ire
It is the same for all the forums. The script just puts in the forum name. Do your research next time before calling a company out.
