Is there a way to 'test' a site for its weight before creating an account and putting the ads up?

i've got some site I might want to add to my co-op account, but not if they give me just a small weight... Is there a way to check the weight before creating an account?

As far as I know, it's not possible, unless you add the code and validate.

You can give us the home page PR value, and the total number of pages indexed, and someone with a lot of weight of their own can give you a calculated guess.

I would sell one of my sisters children for a tool like that. Shawn, need any kids? How about a nice 3 year old with a penchant for breaking important things (that belong to uncle henry). No? Well anyway I think that such a tool would be highly useful.

I'll throw in BOTH of my sister's children if Shawn would produce such a tool. In fact, he can have my sister as well :)

It would have to be Shawn as he is the only one that knows what weight each factor has.

I doubt its a priority though (darn optigold  lol)

That would be a very useful tool.

I figured I would play with the coop and see what it was all about, so I signed up, threw ads on a pr4 site that is in google and a have no weight a week later. Guess 15 pages in index on a pr4 site (according to http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/?action=mode_change&new_mode=links ) is worth no weight. I was gonna toss it on another site with lower pr and more pages but 0 weight is a bit odd even for a small site.

Do you have to have ads of your own in the network to get weight?

remember that pages indexed is checked with the API, not the site:domain command
