Is it true that the coop network will not help a site until it is indexed by Google?

How do you know a site is indexed by Google?

    Thanks!

indexed means you can find the page on a google search.

    go to google and type

    site:www.yourdomain.com

and you will find a list of pages indexed by G. Coop gives you weight based on the pagerank of your homepage and the total number of pages indexed. Of course, with that said, if you have a new site with no pages indexed yet then that site won't give any weight.

It might be a little more complex than that. I have over 12K in pages indexed and am getting 3K in weight on a PR4 site. Way back in Dec 2004 I was getting 45K in weight with less pages than that indexed. I am waiting patiently but still hovering at the 3K in weight. No idea why? I guess 3K is better than nothing. With 45K in weight I catapulted my BLs and ranked well, now I have resorted to being humble and taking the 3K.

Between Dec 04 and now I think the weight calculation was changed dramatically, and 3k of weight now might be equal to 18k-30k weight back then.
