Are you sure you have enabled the ads?

    :D Absolutely, that's the first thing I re-checked.
Actually I know the reason now (no pages) and it actually reinforces my point.
Those two sites are now a PR2 and 3 yet still carry no weight because according to the google api tool they don't have any pages.
Yet I look at the sites and 5 ads are running on all the pages and there are a lot of pages.......even if google doesn't think so :p .

The bottom line is...I am running five ads on two sites on a number of pages for weeks/months, yet not one of my ads are being run anywhere and I have 0 weight....this is not right.

Now while I'm bitching :D since the algorithm changed my other sites, which also don't have the weight they deserve because of the perceived lack of pages, have experienced a large drop in traffic.
I believe this is due to the change in the weight distribution process, the all up weight in the coop comes to 100% which doesn't change.
Now the cap has been lifted for the large sites no matter how you cut it, if you use the logarithmic scale or whatever scale you want, the smaller sites are going to suffer because the large sites can only gain at the expense of the smaller sites.

I agree with Sam the cynic :D

Your post seems to be arguing both sides though. The big sites were previously getting screwed because they weren't getting credit for links displayed on Google Indexed Pages. Lifting the cap just made it fair for all.

Looking it as smaller sites getting screwed because weight is now given fairly to all is a bit strange to me.

I've gotta say, Google is making it harder and harder for the coop to work for me...

    Sod it I say.

My SEO blog can't any longer run in the Co-op because of a lack of pages when doing a site:query (no description of title in results - Like a dup content filter (There is no dup content)).

So sod it... I hate google and google hates me.

    Thank goodness for Yahoo!

I wish that we could verify pages using the Y! API as opposed to the G API, but G does have a lot better spam filters...

it could have something to do with the fact that the links are not permanent, that's why the coop works great for yahoo, but does little in comparison when it comes to Google.

Google sucks at showing all your links and takes a while to update its link database
