I wonder if anybody else is getting the same results as me since the new update, like a lot if people I've been hit hard but what I find interesting is that my allinacnhor position for my keyphrases has dropped from top 5 to not counting at all. Virtually all of my links were coop links, which makes it seem to me that google has stopped counting these links towards the allinanchor position. further I still rank well for the terms I was ranking well for without the coop. Could that be true? is there anybody else who has achieved good ranking using only the coop tool, and if so how has your position been affected?
Lol, so? That doesn't change anything... but why do I even waste my time with you? What can you know? Your sites are so crappy that they all get denied at linkvault, lol, I had a good laugh at your whining at their forum
it was just a couple sites still have over 200,000 vaultage so I will be all right hows mexico? hows the third world treating you?
Couldn't be happier. With the money I am earning I am living like a king! Country sucks, but when you have money you can enjoy life no matter where you are.
This is a great thread, I can imagine the doggie and ferret squaring off in front of their respective meals. Now I sort of forgot what the whole thread was about. Anyway, I do believe there's some negating of co-op affects going on in SE's, no penalty, but a reduced benefit.. it was always mercurial, the serp's would dance wildly for sites I threw in the co-op, but for terms for which I was stable I am still very stable. Eric ps. I'm off to Wendy's for a Frosty and a burger and maybe I'll get a taco on the way back if I'm still hungry, there's several mexican places around here.
Oh, please, not this crap again... I have been using the coop on one site ever since the coop was created. That site is PR6 and top 10 for all my keywords. Why? Because I use the coop as an advertising tool and don't rely on it for anything else. I have amazing sites trade links with me, my site is full of content and I update it daily. So, once again, I'll just say that some people should stop blaming the coop or LV and go back to working on your sites. Oh, and BTW...
I still have some incredible rankings from coop but nothing like i used to have, and all the rankings are mostly in yahoo but I still see some dp pages doing great in google,
I've been using the coop since the early days (affiliate ID #8) and can say with a high level of confidence the coop is not to blame for the problems people have seen in the serps. Relying on a single method of site promotion (the coop for example) is a sure fire way to sit outside the top 100 looking in. Diversify people, diversify
Thanks for the responses guys, I have read a lot about the current update already and I agree with everything thats been said here. What I was trying to determine specifically is if google has found a way to filter out coop links when they count backlinks. Since my allinanchor position went from 1 to not even appearing in some cases that would seem like a likely explanation. I was just wondering of anyone else had experienced something similar. This is not a "oh god my serps are ruined" thread, I'm not dependant on good serps in any way, although it is nice, my site is a chat forum where most of the members have been there a very long time. I'm simply trying to establish whether or not google has decided to ignore coop links during this update.
