I have an RSS feed which I wanted to be listed in google but I also wanted to use the coop.

Thought I would let people know that this is possible as it took me a couple of days to figure out how to do it.

You need to use an xsl stylesheet to display the coop adverts so that they do not appear on the rss feed itself. The stylesheet is a php file.

the example is on the link below.

Hope this is not against the TOS.......???

how would you know what pages the feed will be put on? You mean when people place this on others sites?

The problem is, the SEs don't follow XSLT, and I'd imagine that DigitalPoint coop-verifier doesn't either.

But I'm in the same dilemma... I want feeds indexed, but as a result, coop disables the site when it can't find it.

My site has validated fine in the coop.

The rss feeds are on a number of other sites.

The key thing is that the coop ads don't show up in the rss feed so they wont show on any other sites that show my rss feed.

When third party sites pull in rss feeds they use their own stylesheet - as the coop ads are in the stylesheet they only show when the stylesheet is used ie only on my site.

Yeah, mine worked fine for a few months until it finally came across one of the feeds.
