    Hi,

I read somewhere that it's possible to hack into phpBB using coop ad module.
What do you think about it ? Is it safe to use coop ?

It's very safe. To my knowledge there are no issues at all.

Are you sure it was the coop script ?

Either way, data is not passed to the script from the client, so I doubt you'd have anything to worry about.

Of course, if some third party has written a module/hack, that's another story.

    Cheers,

    JL

I would need to see a resource regarding this to even think about believing it.

This was posted on one of Polish SEO forums, but i think they said this to prevent others in poland from joining the coop. Why ? Becouse it is so good !!

This message was in reply to Eclipse's post, but I think that we resolved the issue through PM's, so I don't see a point in bringing the discussion over here.

    Sorry for the mess.
