Revenue Details:

Sold one 1 month text link @ $25 - I almost guarantee you can sell more too.

Widgetbucks is CRAP as you all know, getting $0.28 clicks then days later its down to $0.08 click ( happening to everyone. ) So don't expect any revenue there.

You can update the ads on the freely downloaded script ( the one that all users download for their own use ) as soon as you get it.

Traffic Details:

digg, google ( organic - not paid for ), yahoo ( same ) , codango, etc etc. see all pictures for referrers.

The ONLY paid promotion i have ran is the $36/quarter premium hotscripts ad.

This has now been fixed and updated the main script for future downloads Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

 

Whilst on a current topic I thought I'd point-out that
providing a means for users to upload content may
constitute incitement to breach copyright laws:

Note that the phrase used is ' facilitation of copyright infringement on
the internet' which is vague enough. Physically hosting illegal content
is a no-no. Providing a search facility to aggregate from loads of sites
seems to be OK because it's a thru a simple search engine. The really
crucial difference is doing that (and/or hosting the content) AND providing
the user with a means to upload content from the same site, which (apparently) is what has got FACT, the UK Police and everyone else hot
& bothered.

Just thought you'd want to know.

Mine as well warn all 61,800,000 of them too, and ofcourse putfile.com, imageshack.us, rapidshare, etc.

 

Try typing 'uploading copyrighted material' instead...

It's a legal point that I was trying to draw your attention to -
depending where and what is on the server or not and how
content is accessed directly or indirectly is the point...

I'm sorry but im going to stick up for the owner of this site since you are trying to trash this forum, in what way does that even nearly compare to this website? From what I gather this website has/is nothing to do with/supports illegal uploads or streams. You are allowed to have a video hosting website - there is 100% nothing wrong with that, allowing people to download, again 100% nothing wrong. This site/auction is perfectly legal so please dont try and trash someones site when you really do have no idea about it.

Lastly let me end on this note TV-LINKS has nothing to do with this site - it is completely different since it linked to ILLEGAL uploads which this does not. Also the site is allowing people to DOWNLOAD the script, what the user does with the script is up to them - the owner of the script who distributed the script has n control over what the user does with the script

 

You're killing me haha, you have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you're talking about. Im offering a script to run a video hosting site ~ Do you know what youtube is ( haha )? Same style.

See, i know it's knew and all; But there is something called a) Deleting rule-breaking files off the server and b) having rules/terms of service.

I suggest you leave the thread before even more people see how dumb you are acting.
