I was looking for an MP3 to just play and found this site where you basically just type in the song name and it brings up a bunch of songs you can just play. http://www.radioblogclub.com/search/0/black_betty Anyone know any other sites like this?
Weirfire, I went to the site and typed in the song name Dizzy. I played the one by the Goo Goo Dolls, but it doesn't sound the same. The quality is low and it sounds strange. Are all the site's songs like that? Otherwise, it's cool that it's free. -Didn't see "Black Betty" by Tom Jones.
if you like house music I have an old site that I host DJ mixes for some friends. Downloads and streams available www.madcracker.com/mix.htm
Yeah I think they are just a bunch of MP3s that people have uploaded to the site. Some of them are good and some of them aren't. Some cut off early as well.
You can use Radio Blog on your own site to stream music. Their online search (radioblogclub), pulls music from the different users' radio blogs. Its great if you want to listen to music at work, but I would never use it on my own sites. One of my hosting clients used up 5gb of bandwidth in a week using the Radio Blog script, without getting a visitor to his main site
Thanks for the info on that. Yeah, I can see how that would work and it's strange how people let radioblog do this to their radio blogs.
Radioblog is hosting the service and it seems to be one of the points. I loved radio blog when it first came out but because of people pulling my bandwidth I got rid of the thing. A site I host for a friend has the dumb thing and uses 30+GB of transfer in the month. Gonna have to let her go soon as I can't afford to be doing it.
Nah she's just a student, she can get it hosted somewhere else free I am sure. Friends. Not sure any will have the mega bandwidth though.
Colleen, Tell her to add this tag in the config.xml file which will prevent her songs from coming up in their search: <register value="0" /> . She also needs to get the most updated version
