Cool logo design contest - $30 paypal

Hello everybody,

I am about to start a new technology blog Tech Recharge

I need a cool logo, and I have a weird idea about the logo. I want a tech guy (maybe skinny, with glasses and spiky hairs) and a battery to the right of that tech. The tech has a plug in his hand which is connected to the battery. The title of website is "Tech Recharge", so "Tech" text can go on the tech's shirt or over and "Recharge" inside or above the battery. Also, add the tagline below "Recharge Yourself".

Any other clever idea or edits/customization will be appreciated too.

The attached image shows the basic idea .. I am horrible in arts

Please throw what ever you can make and I will choose the best one as soon as possible.

Very nice attempt bardh. Can you make my tech lil realistic and also instead of "I'm tech" add just "Tech" on Tech and "Recharge" on battery.

I really like your attempt.

Dude thanks for invite, but honestly if you want this spiky guy design, this is a mascot design you're looking for. I will do something simple i hope it will work.

wow ... these designs are amazing I liked both logos4all's and sniper's design. But I want to give all a chance to post their entry.

Meanwhile, can you add the tagline sniper?

Also, make it something that can be easily transformed into a logo size.

Here is my entry. I decided not to include the battery because the different design styles clash.
I also gave it a cartoonish look, but if you want something a bit more serious, let me know.

Great design guys. I think I might choose multiple winners by seeing the quality. I am just waiting for some members who pm'ed me to wait for their entry and I also need a second opinion from my friend. He will be here next morning and he really knows this stuff.

cassius_18:++++ Great .. I loved the first "Recharge yourself" design tho. Also, I am not sure if it will fit in a smaller logo size?
Logos4all: ++++ Great .. But the tech guy is lil fat, not sure how it will look as logo (in small size)
