any movement away from affiliates and the 'million' day cookie?

i am set to wash cookies on every reboot.
not much use after i have visited your affiliates

anyone think there will be an affiliate move to ppc insted?
or possibly bigger commisoins for instant sales ?

especially with the ongoing growth of cookie removal ??

I don't think many people remove their cookies so often. I sure don't, since I have all my usernames and password stored in them. That way when I get to a forum, my email account, etc I just do a click and my stored information is typed for me.

It would sure be a niusance having to type all my info every day

Yeah, I would say less than 1% probably remove cookies. But even if it was more... (for sake of argument, it was 95% removed cookies), the market would work itself out. More people removing cookies would be less affiliate sales, and then publishers would pay more for the few that are harder to get. It's all about supply and demand. Publishers want to attract the best affiliates, and affiliates will gravitate to the publishers that they make the best ROI with.

i believe those stats...my friends who dont even know how to properly turn off their computers think that they should be deleting cookies very often (of course they dont know what exactly cookies are, but they heard somewhere that cookies are evil  )
