I have a new online store selling ladies hats. Getting about 60 unique visitors a day and had little shy of 2000 uniques for the first month we launched our website. This is our second month. My bounce rate is 60% right now and i'm trying to get it lowered as much as i can. What are some good tips to try to convert that visitor into a buying visitor? I have read that some people do popup on website exits that offer discounts...but to me that sounds annoying. Anything else i can do?
that's by waht business u doing .some hard some not,but you should on the expert with your business details.
There are several points that influence conversion rate in a store: 1. Range of products sold and prices. You should compare your products prices to your competitors' products, maybe your products are too expensive. 2. Also make sure you have high-quality images on the site. Since you sell clothes, it is very important to attract potential customers by beautiful design and images. 3. Analyze your site from usability point of view. Can customers easily search for products in the store? Is checkout process clear? Are not there too many banners/ads/etc/something that would bother customers. You can ask your friends and family analyze your site and share their opinion - listen to them carefully, there can be really useful hints given.
