Hello everyone! There a lot of posts on this (and other forums) where people are talking on ways to increase website traffic. Well I would like to take it a step further, traffic is a good thing but what is the use if it is not converting? what is the use if you are not getting ROI? I wish to dedicate this thread for this purpose only. Share your views and opinions on this matter. As far as i think, ROI or conversions have everything to do with your website. From its design to content to load time and to every other tiny detail. Please feel free to share your thoughts and tips.
Well, My first view would point out to demographics. "Optimizing the site with regard to demographics" - The way visitors search. Visitors may be from age groups of (5 to 90) and they may be male/female. Keeping in mind our product/service, we need to optimize the site in such a way that how the visitors think and search for the information of what they want. In this way we can get genuine traffic to the site (highly targeted). Its nothing but thinking absolutely as of the visitor and converting our optimization strategies accordingly.
nice points... yes i agree that targeting your visitors is essential.. visitor loyalty is wht it is called..
