Converting to files to FLV format...

Hi guys,

Anyone got any ideas where I could get an easy to use service to convert video files to FLV files?

I've found loads of sites that will convert backwards, but none to convert TO FLV files?


I'm currently having to upload them to youtube and then rip the FLV file back off of you tube, but this it timely and I'm worried that youtube will stop the ability to rip files soon.

I've downloaded a couple of programs to my mac, but the files never come out quite as I want them, and I don't have the time to sit down and play with the settings.

Ideally, I want whatever compression system youtube use... cause it's exactly what I need - anyone got any ideas how I could get hold of this?

Also there is Riva Free Encoder which works.
Lots of better ones out there though.

ReplayConverter is the best for me. Its has a great layout, and easy to use. COnverts anything to all major video and audio types

 

Why not just use flash? It has the sorenson spark program which creates the flv files from imports.
