Hi, Ok, so people visit my site, read the introduction and think I offer a cool service. They then sign up, and don't use the service properly . Instead they type "dfdskhsdfkh" or something onto my sticky pads, which takes space + bandwidth on my server. When I ask them what they think, they say that it's a cool service and they'll use it for sure. So far, out of about 150 pads, there are about 10 ones that I can see are being used for some decent reason. Why is it that everyone says my site is nice and it's a brilliant idea, but then they don't use it themselves? The site is mysticky.net if you want to see the example. I get about 7 signups a day, which is good, but like I say, they're useless. Please help me -Hecky.
well I am afraid there isn't anything you can do really. It's the same with forums., People signup and never return after. Why not let them pay a few cents. Then you wpould probably get people who truly are interested.
if he change to paid service sure noone will sign up. I think you just have to ignore those problems and thinking of getting more visitors with good potential. traffic always the best no matter they use the service or not as long as they click your ads.
If people used the service correctly, then sticky pads with my url on them would be all over the net, and the site would be self-promoting. While I do get ad clicks already, with people using the site pointlessly, if the people used them correctly then I'd have lots more traffic.
