Converting phpBB Forum to vBulletin

I was just wondering how much it would cost for me to get someone to convert my phpBB forums to vBulletin for me, and how long it would take?

 

You can do this with the ImpEx tool vBulletin provides. Go to the website and search for it, it's pretty straight forward.

 

Yeah phpBB to Vbulletin is probably the easiest convert you can do. Just make sure to do a backup first.

 

Exactly. Just follow the instructions that comes with the IMPEX tool. Read the instructions all the way through first, then follow them step by step - you'll be fine.

 

Agreed, Impex is actually quite easy in and of itself...even for somebody who has neve done it before, it can be done relatively easily

Depending on the size of your forums, you could probably have somebody do it for you for $5 - $20...I would even be willing, although I wouldnt benavailable this week.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to do the reverse, go from vBulletin to phpbb?
