Client's requirements: We’re looking for someone to revamp our website from Flash into HTML 5, PHP(Wordpress), javascript so that we’re iPhone and iPad friendly. We’d like to maintain the same look and feel of the site. Content will remain roughly the same (we’ll be adding one new product and revising some text). We’d like the ability to make changes to the site’s content in the future. Please see this website to see what we’re talking about. Using Wordpress I would like to get this project accomplished around $300. Who's up for this task? Looking forward to hearing from you, What I'm interested in hearing: 1. How long will it take? 2. I can do this easy peasy, I've had lots of experience with html5, javascript and css3. Animations, interactivity - anything you need really. I need to go over some aspects with you as some of the animations on your website will not be practical when it comes to animating with javascript as they may lag up some browsers. As for the cost, there are 2 routes we can go down:- 1) A system, lets say Wordpress where you can add/remove and update content that you will have on your website. Those galleries will work similar to how they are right now. This would cost you around $700-1000 for both design and coding. 2) A static website, slightly more difficult to update content if you don't know html/css. This would cost around $400-600. Sorry to say it, even a sweatshop, wouldn't take on this project for $300 if you require Wordpress. Your asking too much and offering too little.
No worries.. no one is forcing you to take it..! FYI:I'm a web developer myself and do this often.. just figured if someone else can help me with this project as I'm busy with other tasks. I can install wordpress through my hostmonster cpanel in less than 5 mins? it is called ready scripts There are millions of paid and free templates that are already out there. I can simply go with one of the paid templates and install that in another 15. With-in 20 mins I've wordpress + Theme that matches client current site configured.. rest is the customization and importing the data.
If you still need someone, let me know. I'll do it within your budget. I just need half down, half upon completion. Shouldn't take too long.
