Converting Actionscript 2 to actionscript 3

    I am designing a flash website using a free template from wix.com about the solar system for kids. However when I am trying to embed a flash movie (animation) from the national geograhic website, there is a notification from the wix editor that says: "This file uses Actionscript 2, please convert to Actionscript 3 and upload again.

    Could somebody help me out by telling me how to convert Actionscript 2 to actionscript3 wihtout changing the flash file?

    if u converted to as3 it creates errors..
    we need to work on Programming..

    It's not possible to convert from as2 to as3 without having the source .fla, changing the settings to as3, changing the code (e.g giving variables types, removing script on clips) and then republishing the file

    This is funny cause I have the almost EXACT same problem. I'm trying to upload a little flash game I made with actionscript 2 onto my wix website thing... Whenever i do it says the same thing "convert to as3" or whatever... But Im real new to actionscript stuff so I have no idea what you people are talking about with all your "codes" and things. can you make it more simple?

    Just PLEASE say something like "click file then click convert to as3" so i can put it on my website...
