I've written two eBooks, both of them are Word Files at the moment. I want to convert them to PDF, but don't want to buy the software just for the two files, so anyone know a free program that can do it for me/ a trial program that allows a few free tries before you pay? I might buy it in a month or two if I decide to write more eBooks, cheers
I've had this same problem in the past. There are a lot of programs available that will act as a printer driver that will let you "print" out PDFs. If you don't have a printer they don't work though. Here are a couple of online ones: http://www.doc2pdf.net/converter/ http://www.pdfonline.com/ http://convert.neevia.com/ Code (markup):
if you had a Mac you could just 'do it'... but if you're using a pee-see, try using PrimoPDF .. its free and easy..
do not forget to protect it with a password otherwise it can be converted back to word.It is to keep honest man honest. crackers will remove the password anyway.
this is an incredible way to convert a lot of different formats to PDF, even when your on the go without the software you need. just send an email to pdf@koolwire.com with the document attached. wait a few, and you will get a response back.
I use for this free pdf xp is Freeware program you can download from here: http://freepdf-xp.en.softonic.com/
Search for "Cute PDF", it will do the charm for you. Small little application. You can convert it by going to your Word document, File --> Print, drop down Choose Printer and there will be a printer called Cute PDF after you have installed it. Choose it and print. It will ask you for where do you want to place your PDF file, select your location and OK. The PDF will be produced. The same goes to Excel docs.
Primo Pdf or PdfCreator like I'm using right now.. download at www.100-downloads.com also you can easily convert your doc if you are using Openoffice..
