Is it possible to convert a webpage that has xhtml/css coding into an image? I want to do this since I am going to use the image on a website to bypass getting html errors on that website's html editor. After the website is converted into an image, all I would have to do is add a short line of code to fetch the image and make it show on the page.
um, PrtSc? As in, hit the Print Screen button when you have the website open in your browser, then paste from the clipboard straight into a graphics editor? You may have to assemble a few Print Screens if it is a tall page. Yea, go ahead with that one-image-style if you do not need any content.
Print screen will do the job, But it is highly not recommended to show a image instead of a site. Because a site is not an image Good luck anyway
Why are always so stupid questions ? Just press PrtScr button .. After that open Paint and Ctrl + V, and the job will be done !
bypassing to CLEAN UP your HTML by using an image instead of a page ALSO will successfully bypass your site of being indexed. the entire content of the site-picture NO LONGER will be indexed and thus also bypass most of the site-traffic coming from SE. Millions of other publisher just sit down and learn how to clean up templates and code until all validated resulting in clean professionally published pages fully SEO'd bringing $ in return for efforts. review your motives and exact results you want to achieve anther option might be to just DELETE your entire site .... if saving efforts and saving work is more important than professional efficiency and true success ....
I know of the 'print-screen' option, but I am not looking for a way to make a screenshot. I need to convert a website page into image format. Let me provide you with clearer details. I have a selling template so I want to edit and modify it. However, I don't want it to be a xhtml coded page, but rather an image file like this. I need to convert the whole website page into the image format, so the 'print-screen' option will not work. Also, would I be able to make the image file have clickable links?
"Image Maps" are what you're looking for if you want certain portions of your "layout" (image) to be clickable and take visitors to other parts of the site.
Adobe Imageready, if I remember correctly -- if not, it's something in the Adobe suite. There may be some other image-map specific programs also, or you can do it manually.
