HI, I'm interested in converting my site to a WordPress blog format. Currently there are about 30 pages of html content (front end) and about 45 pages of blog content (back end) to a blog. I have converted a couple of HTML sites myself before but they were not time sensitive and the rankings weren't that important. I am very concerned about maintaining my rankings during the process and minimal down time. Anybody interested in this project?
Has anyone heard from this fellow? I was retained to do this work. It took a tad longer because he missed the individual page count by a wide margin but that is fine really. I spent a few hours with him last night and did precisely what he asked me to do live, in real time with him on skype. I had completed porting his entire site over to wordpress and sent him an invoice for the remainder(which we both agreed upon). 8 minutes later he pulled a runner on me. I got locked out of the server and I no longer have him on skype. Despite my experience here I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt before I start to worry. I am a tad stumped really. He seemed nice enough and is a grown up with a brick and mortar business. FYI, I have every word I have to spoken to this guy via skype log including wrapping this stuff up last night. Fortunately for me I am largely done with low dollar DP stuff but, I have frankly had it. If it turns out he did vanish on me, it wont be the first time but, you can bet your ass it will be the last. thanks folks, Nigel
