CONVERT .FLV TO MPEG FOR MPEG,MPEG4 etc

I've tried many softwares to convert .flv file but none of them works good,i want to to edit .flv file in Windows movie maker.

A bit late reply, but not that late. Use ffmpeg commandline tool which is THE BEST tool for converting between almost all known video formats. The simple commnadline for converting an flv to wmv will be

if wmv1 does not work try following too
wmv2
wmv3

if none works, produce mepg then using

Hey There,

I use Total video2DVD Author to convert flv's. They actually have separate 'tool' that comes with it to do this. Just google it, you get to try it for 15 days for free and the only downside is a watermark. Fully functional otherwise.
