    Hi, guys ;)
I dont find an answer what is the best way to convert .avi to ???. I think that best formats is mp4 or flv. I people could watch this file through firefox or other browsers. I want to get best quality and to have as much as possible biggest compression.

Like ~300mb .avi file would convert to .mp4 or .flv to 40-80mb.

So what converters and to which format you would offer to loose less quality and to compress as much as possible.

Waiting for you answers, people ;)

Check out Koyotesoft's Free Video Converter, as well as WinFF. They're my favorites.

What's about watermarking. Converting + watermarking?

Personally, I use AVS video converter. Its a commercial solution and cost about $39 US dollars, but its been well worth it. And, you can convert the video to all types of formats
and not just FLV. it's easy to use and the quality is awesome. It's impossible to change the format without quality loss. All you can do is set the bit rate to a higher figure before conversion to get a better quality since you dont mind the file size.

Try convert avi files from “Total Video Converter” which is one of the best software for this purpose. I am using this for a long time and got great response.

You can convert avi to flv, as FLV is currently the most widely used video format on the Internet.

If you have a Nvidia CUDA capable video card I recommend Video Converter Ultimate, it can also add watermark to the converted file.
Sorry I can not add a link yet
