What will be the conversion rate for search traffic . I know it depends on ad placement , product etc . But i am talking about general industry ratio . What will be the conversion in case of targated search results .. and what will be the conversion in case of sector specific search .. Also i have seen most of the products have epc less than $1 often $.25 ..So does it means you should expect 1-2% conversion or even less .(assuming product commission $30-$40).Does this epc often refer to targated search or general search ?
On average it doesn't go above 2%. But it all depends on several things. Such as, the look of your site, the look of your ads, how many other ads are on that page along with yours, where your ads are placed, the product itself.... If you are doing at least 1% you are doing good. So if you can bring in at least 1,000 daily visitors, and you got your shit straight, you can do some pretty good sales. Add it up at the end of the month, and voila!
