That is the question....I have campaign optimizer running on every campaign that is elligible. Over the last few month my enrolls have dropped. It was doing well at the start of the summer hitting the goal I set price wise and getting a ton of enrolls. Not is seems to not be doing well at all. The pice is higher per conversion and my overall conversion numbers are down. Any advice on whether to manually bid or leave it on. I feel like it only shown my exact match and never shows my broad. no i know that showing the exact will help optimizer reach that goal I set buy by not showing broad am I losing those perspective enrolls? And of course the Google Reps are very unclear.
So far its hit or miss with conversion optimizer. Most of the time when you first start out your conversion drop and CPA goes sky rocket, but then it corrects its self over 2 - 4 weeks, sometimes longer. If conversion optimizer does end up working for your campaign and the few that it has on my end, conversion do increase... but again, its hit or miss and whether you willing to turn your campaign and conversions upside down till google figures it out
Thanks for the reply Robert....it really is hit or miss. Things were going well for the first few months. But now My conversion are really dropping off and the optimizer isnt even showing my ads for the broad match keywords. So i guess I have to go back to manual.
