Hi, I believe, every SEO guy is familiar with these 2 terms... "Conversion Optimization" and "SEO". Generally, people see conversion optimization as better sales tool/method and not as SEO strategy. But, how many of you have seen conversion optimization as the best SEO strategy (for getting on top of SERPs)?
I am 99% positive, that conversions have absolutely no impact on Serps whatsoever. Then again, it depends on what you consider a conversion. If you consider a conversion to be a click on your website, then yes CTR is a major factor in the Serps, but apart of that, I doubt that. Even in the case if you have conversion tracking via Google Analytics, then Google doesn't want you to get conversion through organic search. They want you to pay for PPC and spend money and get conversions through that. So even if it was the case, that conversions have some impact on Serps, in my opinion (conspiracy), it would be counter-productive.
