    My site is
    http://www.projectsclothing.co.uk/
We've targetted specific brands as keywords and my ctr is excellent (above 20% everyday for 7 days). However, in this games it's all about conversion. I've had 400 hits and just 3 conversions.Saying that, the sales have been a reasonable amount). Do I need to run the campaign for longer before I can judge it's success. I just expected conversion to be between 1-2% initially, my prices are very competitive.

I'm using no chex as a payment system, anyone have any thoughts on this. I thought about cart abandenment.

Before people ask about analytics, I'm awaiting a response from google as i'm having problems with it.

Any advice would be appreciated as i'm a noobie in this game.

There is a theory that people surf internet in different states.

    Simplified there are three states:
    1. Just skimming around
    2. Interested in specific product
    3. Wanting to buy this product

Now the interesting thing is that a person in 1st state will use different keywords then the person in 2nd state or in 3rd state.

    For example:
a person in 2nd state who is only interested about product might search for "project x info"
While a person in 3rd state might search for "price of project x".

If you think a lot and put yourself in the shoes of your visitor you might assume in which stage is he and this might help you decide if you want to target the keyword.

At this moment I guess you are targeting people who are interested and those who are in "I want to buy this" state.

Find out which are which by testing and by putting yourself in their shoes and I'm positive you'll improve your CTR.

Change up your ad copy and keywords to only target buying customers instead of browsing customers.

You can note down the time of the day when you get most conversion and show your ads at only those time by turning on ad scheduling.

Also you can write the price of clothing in to your ads so only qualified people will click on it. This method will get your CTR low but will have good conversions.
