Been off line for a while.
Not able to find past conversations.
Is there a way that I could do that?
    Thanks

Mine are currently going back to June '17 so you have a reasonable amount of time to recover old messages.

Just go to conversations and save them as pdfs or whatever you need.

You're a Premium Member so your messages are stored for 12 months, any messages older than that will be gone forever....

    DP never fails to astonish!
All of the BIG DATA sites, Google, Amazon, Twitter, YouTube, Alibaba and most of the other top tech giants would have a fit if they found that any part of their client's data could be gone for ever :)

"Ever dawn on you those sites have ulterior motives for keeping your data."

Yes that thought did cross my mind.
You still use Google, Gmail and even Amazon though do you not Smyrl ?

DP is one of the "good guys", used to be and am sure still is one the very best forums on line and so has no ulterior motives.

So if you have no problem with using Google & Amazon keeping all of your data, there would obviously be no problem in allowing DP to keep the data.
    Do you agree?

From DP's point of view, the server space required for storage of what is mostly text based content is clearly not an issue.

Its just that for old codgers like me, it would be nice to be able to go back 10/15 years and see who had created a really great site for me and what he/she was up to now!

Think about how great the search feature for the forum would be, if all of the questions and replies over the years could be accessed!

It would be the very best of sources for tech information any where.

Way way better than Google or any other such source, online or offline !!!

Seriously, deleting the DP conversations and not making them available as a tech info source is, well, not right to say the very least.

I know I could download all of my conversation and archive them.
Imagine if you had to do that for your Gmail or Yahoo messages!

It would be really nice if all of the DP conversations could be accessed right from DP, even if that cost me a little for the service.
