control multiple websites

    Is there any cms that lets you manage multiple websites across different servers from one control panel?

    Yes and yes.
    PC based CMS systems will do this, sometimes known as db to html technology.
    You manage all the different sites from one program on your PC. This is much faster and more secure than having lots of online databases. The content is then parsed into lots of very lightweight coded pages via simple html templates. FTP is intergrated and automatic. pure seo cms is one example
